This was my entry for the NVidia 2D/3D Fusion contest. I tried to keep the organic shapes with warmer tones, while keeping the hard surface pieces using cooler ones. The scene was created in Maya, rendered through Mental Ray, and composited in Shake. 2D elements were added in Photoshop.
